In the BUILD app

  1. Open BUILD and log in.
  2. Tap the Settings (gear) button at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap Delete my account, then confirm.

On the website

  1. Log in with your BUILD email and password.
  2. Open My account.
  3. Under Delete my account, tick the box and press Delete my account, then confirm.

By email (if you can't log in)

Email asmitamehta790@gmail.com from the email address you registered with, with the subject "Delete my BUILD account". We will delete it and confirm within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your name, email address, phone number, city, account type and medical registration number.
  • Your password, your logins on every device and any password-reset requests.
  • Your name in our admin records.

This happens straight away. Copies in our daily backups are removed within 14 days, and always within 30 days.

What is kept

Anonymous quiz answers and BUILD Score calculations are kept for teaching and research. They are not linked to your name, email or account, so they cannot identify you. Usage counts are kept for up to 90 days and contain no personal details.
